Broadcast the 16th Installment of the Festival
Sky News Arabia Official News Broadcast Sponsor at Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts
Kamal Abdel Aziz, Festival President and Director of the National Film Center, and Festival Director Mohamed Hefzy, who's also a Producer and Scriptwriter, revealed that Sky News Arabia is selected to be the official news broadcast sponsor at Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts.
Based on an agreement between the festival's administration and the channel, Sky News Arabia had the chance to broadcast the events and activities that took place within the frame work of the Ismailia film festival, which ran from June 4th till June 9th, 2013.
Sky News Arabia is a 24-hour, Arabic-language rolling news channel broadcasting in HD quality from Abu Dhabi. First launched in 1988, The Ismailia festival is one of the major film festivals in the Arab world, and the first in the region to be exclusively dedicated to documentaries and shorts.
Ismailia city has hosted the festival for fifteen years and it's considered one of the most charming cities in Egypt. The quiet city is situated on the coast of Suez Canal, which links between the Red and Mediterranean seas to be functioning as a link between civilizations, exactly the same as the Suez Canal, for nearly 150 years.
