Shereen Reda Best Actress at the Egyptian National Film Festival

During the closing ceremony of the 20th Egyptian National Film Festival, Shereen Reda was announced winner of the Best Actress Award for her role in Out of Order. One of the most important local film festivals, the Egyptian National Film Festival is organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture through its Cultural Development Fund.

Shereen previously won the Best Actress award for the same role at the 42nd Egyptian Cinema Film Association Festival.

Most recently, Reda participated in three films; Kedbet Kol Youm, Nawara, which had its world premiere at Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) in 2015, and Hepta: The Last Lecture, which generated more than 20 million EGP in ticket sales, holding the record for the highest-grossing romantic film in the history of Egyptian cinema.

As for her TV, Shereen had a full plate last Ramadan as she had roles in two TV series: Al Mizan and Fouk Mostawa El Shobohat, for which she received high praise by esteemed film critics as well as audiences.
