Seven Stars and an Ambulance on the Official Poster of Ras El Sana by Screenwriter Mohamed Hefzy

Ahead of its release in Egyptian theaters on February 5, Film Clinic and Lagoonie Film Production released the official poster of Ras El Sana by screenwriter Mohamed Hefzy and director Sakr.

The poster features seven stars in their clubbing outfits with an ambulance in the background.
Landing its world premiere at the 18th Marrakech International Film Festival, Ras El Sana takes place over the course of one night in a coastal resort town where the crème de la crème celebrate the New Year in 2009. As the celebrations are underway, relationships grow more complex, and secrets are uncovered, changing the way they see themselves and those around them forever.

Written by screenwriter/producer Mohamed Hefzy, Ras El Sana is director Sakr's directorial debut. The film stars Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Malek, Basma, Shereen Reda, Ingy El Mokadem, Huda El Mufti, and Ali Kassem.

Ras El Sana brought Mohamed Hefzy back to screenwriting alongside his successful career in film production. Aside from his responsibilities as the President of the Cairo International Film Festival, Hefzy is one of the most remarkable screenwriters of his time in the Egyptian film industry. Despite the fact that he wrote a small number of films, these films have been receiving wide audience acclaim even after years of their release, such as El Selem Wi El Teeban, Tito, Malaki Eskenderia, 45 Days and Aswar Al Qamar.

Ras El Sana is produced by Lagoonie Film Production and Film Clinic, distributed by New Century Production and marketed by MAD Solutions.
