In the Arab world and Egypt, we have very bright names in this field, and creative young people who have creative designs, whether in accessories, decor, furniture, floors, kitchens...etc. However, we needed a platform and a place through which those designers can exhibit their work. That is what the Cairo Design Award (CDA) offers. I'm very happy to have been chosen to host this event as I love that field."

The event will be attended by jury members of key names in the field of design, including jewelry designer Azza Fahmy, set designer Onsi Abo Sief, Eng. Tarek Naga, Eng. Amr Helmi and Eng. Karim Mokhtajian. The event will also be attended by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tareq Qabeel.
