MAD Solutions announced its official participation in the Montreal World and Toronto International film festivals in Canada as part of the company's representation and management of both feature fims. As part of MAD Solutions'representation, the company will market the films and coordinate with Arab and International medias to promote them. These plans of action come within the companys' strategy to engage in broader cinematic horizons in International markets through film festivals and global communications where the films represented by MAD Solutionsare screened.

‏An Ideal Family is the first production to be undertaken by New Century this year and will premiere at the 34th Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal as part of the Regards sur les cinémas du monde (Focus on World Cinema) section of the festival. The festival began on Thursday 26 August and will continue until 6 September 2010. An Ideal Family will have three screenings over the weekend, starting Saturday August 28th at 10 a.m., and again at 7:20 p.m., and finally at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday August 29th 2010. The three screenings are open to the public, as well as to the International press & filmmakers.

‏MAD Solutions launched the films" website under the www.3a2eletmickey.com and the English version www.an-ideal-family.com. MAD solutions also designed the official international poster for the production, MAD also prepared the English press kits that will be distributed through out the festival to market the film. An Ideal Family press kit includes a 28-page booklet that portrays information about the production and its makers, in addition to a DVD of the films' trailer and stills. It is noteworthy that An Ideal Family is the only Arabic film taking part in the 34th Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal.

‏Maher Diab; Managing Partner & Creative Director of MAD Solutions, is attending the festival on behalf of the company. He comments saying, "It is MAD Solutions' mission to present Egyptian and Arab film in the best possible way to the International markets and in International film festivals."

‏An Ideal Family falls under the family comedy genre. The film stars Lebleba and features the distinguished actor Ahmed Fouad Selim and the renowned actress Ragaa Hussein, in addition to a group of young talents that includes Amr Abed and Hassan Harb, as well as fresh faces that include Irene Fady, Ahmed Shawky, Sherihan, Seif Al-Deen Tarek and the young Mohamed Talaat.

‏The events of An Ideal Family tell the story of an Egyptian family that consists of 8 members and that is shortlisted to win the "Ideal Family" prize on a television show. The production conveys the attributes of Egyptian families of the modern day within a new family-oriented social frame.

‏Alaa Karkouti; the eminent film analyst and Managing Partner of MAD Solutions confirms, "The companys' strategy is founded on the ideology of forming strong bonds with Arab and international film festivals and markets. We complement that bond by providing marketing material for the Egyptian and Arabic films that we represent that match the standards of international productions and, thus, gives the Arab and Egyptian cinema sectors the international recognition they deserve."

‏On another note, MAD Solutions is also taking part in the 35th Toronto International Film Festival through its representation of the Egyptian film Microphone. The film will be screened as part of the festival's Vanguard section and is the only Egyptian film to participate in the festival this year. Microphone is a Film Clinic production, founded and managed by renowned film scriptwriter and producer Mohamed Hefzy. The 35th Toronto International Film Festival will begin on 9 September 2010 and will continue until the 19th of the same month. MAD Solutions is currently finalizing the Microphone website and preparing the press kits that will be distributed in the film's premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as the other international film festivals that will screen the film before the end of the year.

‏Nour El Tonny; International Marketing Manager at MAD Solutions, confirms; "An Ideal Family & Microphone are the first of a line up of powerful feature films that MAD promises to introduce to the International market and thus putting Egypt back on the map of the International film Industry."

‏Microphone was filmed entirely in the city of Alexandria. Shooting started in April and ended in June 2010 and the film was written and directed by Ahmed Abdalla, whose award winning first feature Heliopolis clearly echoed his raw talent last year. Heliopolis was met very well by International audiences when it was presented in the Abu Dhabi Film Festival (Formally Middle-East International Film Festival), the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Marrakech International Film Festival and the Cairo International Film Festival.

‏Microphone stars a group of film stars, preceded by Khaled Abol Naga, who co-produced the film, Yousra Al-Louzy and Hany Adel, as well as five Indie bands from Alexandria, portraying their real personalities in the film.

‏Dina Ezzat; Managing Partner and Marketing and Advertising Director at MAD Solutions, considers that, "What MAD Solutions is providing for the the Egyptian and Arab cinema sectors today is merely a step towards the companys' strategy for the years to come. We want to endorse and strengthen the presence of Arabic and Egyptian films around the world, and marketing such productions in Arab and international film festivals and markets was an absent aspect in the past."
