Hend Sabry Leads a Campaign Promoting Tourism in Tunisia with an Array of A-list Stars from the Arab World

As a dedicated Tunisian who is eager to support her homeland following the recent Bardo Museum terrorist attack, Tunisian actress Hend Sabry leads a campaign promoting local tourism in Tunisia through a video boasting an extensive number of big-name Arab and Tunisian stars calling on the Arab public to support Tunisia by visiting it, with a review of the most beautiful cities and locations in the country.

A spontaneous reaction demonstrating love and unity among Arabs, the video will premiere on Tuesday, April 7th on Sherif Amer's Happening in Egypt on MBC MASR channel. Concurrently, the video is slated to go viral on Tunisian media outlets and the official the official Hend Sabry channel on YouTube.

Last week Sabry has taken part in the international march against terrorism in Tunisia, which emerged based on a call by the Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, in response to the terrorist attack on the National Bardo Museum, killing 23 people. The anti-terrorism march witnessed massive participation of international politicians, activists and Tunisians citizens from different visions.

Hend has also recently participated in the reception hosted by the Tunisian Embassy in Cairo on the 59th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tunisia of the French occupation. The event was attended by Tunisian Ambassador Mahmoud Khmer and several key figures and celebrities from the Tunisian community in Egypt, and Arab diplomatic delegations to Cairo. The reception also featured the presence of ambassadors of Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Palestine, and Arab League Secretary- General Dr. Nabil Elaraby, in addition to Mervat Tallawy President of the National Council for Women. Deeply affected by the brutal act that took place earlier on the same day, the event was turned into an active platform to denounce terrorism and support Tunisian community.

A devoted Tunisian, Sabry is always keen on participating in Tunisia's national celebrations and taking part in political events such as voting in the Tunisian elections that took place on December 21st, 2014. She voted in the runoff voting of the presidential elections at the Tunisian embassy in Cairo.
