Aswar Al Amar Marks Hefzy's 3rd Scriptwriting Effort during the Past 3 Months

In a strong comeback as a screenwriter, Mohamed Hefzy's Aswar Al Amar is released across Egyptian theatres Saturday, January 24th, 2015. In 2001, Hefzy kick started his cinematic career as a scriptwriter and managed to prove his talent presenting several remarkable award-winning film hits. The film marks Hefzy's third scriptwriting effort within three months following the spine-chilling horror Warda, released in November 2014, and the new Emirati/Egyptian film From A to B, which has recently released in Egypt.

Aswar Al Amar traces a love triangle involving a blind girl (played by Mona Zaki), where a furious conflict emerges between the rivals; Amr Saad and Asser Yassin.

Based on a story created by himself, Hefzy wrote and scripted Aswar Al Amar with a contribution from Tamer Habib. Aswar Al Amar is directed by Tarek El'eryan.
