A Photo of the Ill-fated Family Reveals More Details on Warda

MAD Solutions, the film's distributor, has released the official trailer of the new thriller Warda that featured the first photo of the family from the film. This comes only a few days prior to the film's screening in Egyptian theatres and across several Arab countries, ringing the curtains up on the long-awaited film, which is based on true events that occurred in a small Egyptian village.

The photo revealed is an old picture of the ill-fated family before falling as a prey to a series of horrific events. The film traces a video blogger who returns to his Egyptian countryside home to document and investigate strange happenings that have been disturbing his family since the death of his father. The trailer follows the blogger as he tries to figure out the source of the sounds heard at midnight leaving the audience exposed to a shocking surprise at the end.

MAD Solutions, the distributor of Warda, decided to screen the film in 60 theatres across Egypt and several Arab countries on November 3rd, 2014, receiving its premiere at 07:00 pm (Cairo Time) and 09:00 pm (UAE Time).

Directed by Hadi El Bagoury and written by Mohamed Hefzy, Warda is produced by
Film Clinic and The Producers, in co-production with Aroma Pictures.
